I'd love to visit your school!
School visits are a fun way to get kids excited about reading. Many authors and illustrators visit schools. Because I also work full time, I only do a handful of visits per year. This year, I could come to your school, too!
My program:
I'll read from one of my books, share original art, describe the process of making the book from start to finish. I'll do a drawing or painting demonstration. Kids will get coloring pages, postcards, and lots of ideas and inspiration to go do their own artwork. Several of my books also have teaching guides available.
Local (up to an hour and half drive from Chesapeake,VA) One 45-60 min. classroom visit: $450.
Non-local: Over 2 hour drive from Chesapeake, VA or for schools outside Virginia, please contact me for details.
There are a limited number of visits I do per year, so get your requests in early!
