Sketches

Initial drawings have so much looseness, so much life. They are free from any expectations, and filled with so many possibilites.

Who are they? What did they just go through? Are they now friends, and weren't before? Did this girl just make the team?

The laundry basket - are the kids pitching in only because a parent is ill or has left? These thoughts added a melancholy feel as I was drawing, letting my mind wander.
